Learn the basics of sculpting in clay!This enjoyable, informal session is open to beginners and more experienced alike. It is a lovely way to get an introduction to sculpture or to refine the skills you already have.
Starting with a demonstration, you will be helped through the process of creating a bird sculpture in clay using different tools, and shown how to assess and express proportions with your work.
Individual tuition will be given and you will have the opportunity to create a unique bird of your own.
Finished pieces will be decorated using colourful underglazes and then will be fired at the studio and ready for collection in approximately 2-3 weeks.
