Melody Trucks and the Fitzkee Brothers don’t just play Southern rock—they set it on fire. Melody, daughter of Allman Brothers drum legend Butch Trucks, has carved her own lane with a voice that can preach, plead, and flat-out roar. The Fitzkee Brothers bring the heat, fusing raw, blues-soaked riffs with a rhythm section that hits like a runaway train. Together, they’re not chasing the legacy—they’re rewriting it, night after night, with a sound that’s as dangerous as it is electrifying.Carrying the Torch, Blazing New Trails
Join Melody Trucks and The Fitzkee Brothers as they honor and evolve the legendary sound of the Allman Brothers Band and the Trucks family legacy — delivering soulful Southern rock, blistering jams, and deep grooves for a new generation. Joining them is Very Special Guest Garrett Shider (P- Funk’s Starchild Jr.) who is bringing the Funk and honoring the legacy of his father!
This is more than a concert — it’s a musical journey through the past, present, and future of one of rock & funk’s most influential family trees. Don’t miss this powerful night of music, memories, and momentum.
Garrett Shider- Starchild Jr.-
Garrett is literally a clone created on the Mothership as his dad was Parliament-Funkadelic’s diaper clad guitarist and frontman Garry Shider and Garrett’s music is a direct reflection of the lessons learned from his funky father and the P-Funk crew. His music uses the same concepts of The One, lyrical expression, metaphorical and satirical humor, and musical melodies made famous by P- Funk as well, but with Garrett’s own twist.
Garrett first stepped onto a stage at 3 years old at Madison Square Garden bringing the funk with his mom and dad. He is currently performing with the current alignment of Parliament-Funkadelic now taking over a lot of his dad’s parts.
He has essentially been performing since birth, earning his first writer’s credit at the age of 6 (Pumpin it Up from P-funk All Stars album Urban Dance Floor Guerillas), appearing on The Red Hot Chili Peppers Freaky Styley at the age of 7, and honing his talents at DC’s Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where he also had a chance to perform at a very young age with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Kenny Loggins, Ray Charles, and countless other artist.
So needless to say, Garrett is beyond ready to fill those “funky diapers” left behind by his dad!!
