Perfect for kids ages 8–12, this workshop will teach the basics of songwriting, including rhyme, melody, and lyrics, while building confidence and encouraging self-expression.
Week 1: The Basics of Songwriting
Kids will dive into the essentials of what makes a great song and start brainstorming their own ideas.
Week 2: Creating Lyrics and Melody
Participants will learn how to craft meaningful lyrics and match them with simple, catchy melodies.
Week 3: Song Structure and Emotion
Children will discover how to shape their songs and use music to express their feelings and ideas.
Week 4: Sharing and Celebration
The workshop wraps up with a group showcase, where kids share their songs and celebrate their progress.
