In 2014, The SHE Project launched our very first event. The focus was breast cancer, educating Black women and girls to ensure that they were aware of the risk. More importantly, we used the funds we raised from the participants we purchase wigs and donate them to women who could not afford high-quality wigs.And here we are, 10 years later. We are still striving and serving. For over ten years, we have responded to the social determinants of health for girls, women, and the communities where they live, learn, work, and play. We have built partnerships and long-term relationships in our service.
So this year, we celebrate. We can't wait for you to join us. And you know we can never just do one thing, we are also honoring some amazing women who silently serve. They are in the trenches every day. Stay tuned for the announcement of these amazing women.
