We extend our deepest gratitude to Magnolia Art Exchange for opening their doors and allowing this space to hold a meaningful Black History Month tribute for our community.
β¨ We are honored to welcome our Special Guest Host, Turbado β Contemporary Storyteller, traveling from Alachua County to stand in support and solidarity with Marion County. His presence reflects the power of connection between Black communities across counties and the importance of sharing our stories beyond borders.
This tribute will feature special guest speakers, poets, dancers, and creatives, including Cynthia Graham β historian, book author, and cultural educator, who will help ground the evening in lived history and generational knowledge.
The Melanin Market Pop-Up will also showcase Black and Brown business owners, vendors, food vendors, and artisans, supported by a community that understands the importance of circulating Black and Brown dollars and uplifting professional owned businesses.
