Melanin Celebration at the Pool

Wear your flyest swimsuit and be ready to soak up some sisterhood and sun! This is a ladies only… no judgment zone. Stretchmarks, fupas, love handles, cellulite and jelly (cause jam don't shake like that) will be on display and celebrated!

On June 29, 2024, we will host our Second Annual Pool Party in Riverside, CA. We’ll come together under the Southern California sun to eat, dance, bask, fellowship, laugh, sip cocktails, meet new friends, connect with familiar faces and continue to strengthen our sisterhood in a nonjudgmental, inviting and welcoming space.

We had so much fun in 2022, and the feedback was SO positive… I had to bring it back and UPGRADE the details. There will be an all-you-can-eat taco truck, unlimited margaritas (with or without alcohol), music, lawn games, plenty of space in the pool, a couple of vendors (African clothing, Swimwear and Waistbeads)... but wait! Let’s talk about the swag bag (currently valued at more than $250, with more products being added).

Bring your brightest beach towel, lawn chair, a bottle if you choose, single dollar bills if your want to play LRC, and your vibrant, positive Black Girl Energy!
