Friday March 21st – 9:00AM - 12:30PM:
Discriminating Minds and Discriminating Taste - You asked for it! Work with Melanie to create the bigger distances needed to run some of today's courses! This perfectly timed workshop will include handler training/instruction on how to cue layering correctly, as well as how to clarify any questions your dog has. This is a great prep to get your teammate to focus forward and cueing from a distance. All equipment may be used.
Monday March 24th
8:30AM – 12PM Countermotion: Opposites attract! This workshop is super for building the commitment of skills when the direction of your motion differs from the directions the dog is to go. Whether you’re wanting to build the skills or need proofing, Melanie will review her favorite ways of teaching and maintaining these skills with her favorite games! Did you take this with Melanie in 2024? If so, come and continue to grow/build on those skills!
1PM – 4:30PM : Jumpers! NEW! This new seminar option is so perfect we are offering it twice! Want the
key pieces to find opportunities to stay ahead on a jumper’s course? Let’s, Jump Around, find the best way for
your team to have the confidence to get from challenge point to challenge point without feeling behind. This
will be offered Tuesday morning as well and there will be a different sequence allowing you to get even more
examples to experience on this subject!
Tuesday: March 25 th –

1PM – 4:30PM: Handling foundations: Building your steadfast skills with Melanie Miller - The creating and proofing the perfect puzzle pieces. This workshop covers several key topics that are essential for creating a confident, independent agility teammate, including creating or strengthening strong obstacle independence as well as instructions for teaching several verbal skills to help both when the handler is at a distance or would like to get ahead on course.
This class is suitable for dogs and handlers at any level. New skills will be introduced with low bars. This seminar will likely use only jumps and tunnels.
