Her last three peppy and inviting albums were released in a quick 5 years and include “SECRET SPOT”(Supported by Creative BC & The Gov’t of BC), “BARNSTORMER - Take One” (A roaring 20’s project), and” THE NEW OLD FASHIONED WAY”. Melanie has been the support act for Bryan Adams, Russell Peters, Faith Hill & Chaka Khan, and she’s headlined festivals in Canada, Germany, Denmark & Estonia too.
Meanwhile, alongside MISS DEKKER is DIANE LINES, who has got that Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Burton Cummings, Billy Joel, Michael Bublé thing going on. Jump! She’s a band leader with energy & grace with a star on Granville Street, who has performed with many of the above! She’s got more than just notes up her sleeve. These two are full on and full-time musicians, so the stars aligned here as these two have synced up for a rare duet performance in the Music Container at the Junction Public Market.
