Melanated Melon Presents: Sip & Swing Fundraiser
Astute, charismatic, motivated, and kind-hearted, Johnathan McCain embodied the spirit of a servant leader and a talented musician. He was the heartbeat of this organization. Melanated Melon is a veteran-driven humanitarian effort dedicated to supporting families affected by childhood cancer. At just 15, Johnathan was diagnosed with the rare NUT Midline Carcinoma and tragically passed away three months later. Since October 2021, our lives have changed dramatically. The void left by his absence is irreplaceable, but we strive to ease it by helping others facing similar hardships. Our pain fuels our mission to provide holistic support and funding for families while fostering positive community engagement.
We understand that it takes a village to truly support families and advance medical solutions. We invite you to join us in our mission by attending our Sip & Swing Fundraiser on Thursday, July 11, from 5:30-7:30 PM at TopGolf - Charlotte Southwest. By participating, you will help us raise funds for families impacted by childhood cancer. Your $75 donation includes:
Heavy hors d'oeuvres
A drink ticket (libation of choice)
1.5 hours of playtime
A raffle entry for a 3-month membership at TopGolf (valued at $1,500)
