Hmong Men Volleyball TournamentGet ready for a high-energy day of competition, culture, and community at the Hmong Volleyball Tournament! This exciting event will showcase top volleyball talent from across the region and also serve as a special fundraiser and support event for local Hmong dance groups. Come out to play, cheer, and celebrate the strength and unity of our Hmong community.

🏐 Tournament Format
Team Size: Each team will consist of 6 players on the court, with up to 2 substitutes allowed.
Format:
Round Robin Pool Play to determine seeding. Rally scoring.
Followed by Single Elimination for Playoffs.
(Maybe side out scoring or rally, depending on the time)
Game Length:
Pool Play: One set to 25 (rally scoring, win by 2).
Playoffs:
If rally - Best of 3 sets (first two to 25, third to 15 if needed).
If side out - Best of 3 sets to 15
📋 Rules & Regulations
Serving: Overhand or underhand serves are allowed. No stepping on or over the line until contact.
Net Violations: No net contact or crossing under the centerline. Point goes to the opposing team.
Substitutions: Allowed during dead balls only, must be reported to the referee.
Timeouts: 2 timeouts per set.
4 players must be on court to play. Less than 4 CANNOT PLAY. The team will be count as a loss.
Conduct: Sportsmanship and respect are mandatory. Any unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification.
Hmong Style Play: Expect intense rallies, quick sets, and explosive plays — a reflection of the competitive and high-energy style unique to Hmong volleyball culture.

This tournament is more than just a competition — it’s a cultural gathering. All proceeds and support from the event will go toward fundraising for Hmong dance groups, helping preserve and promote traditional dance and cultural expression.
Enjoy the games while also supporting youth and cultural programs through food vendors, music, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
Event Details:
Reg Fee: $60 it will be split 50/50.
50% goes towards the dance group.
50% goes towards to volleyball winners
(12 teams up 1st and 2nd place)
(11 teams lower 1st only)
Team Check-In: 8am - 8:45am
First Serve: 9am
