We are delighted to welcome two multi-award winning, fast rising and excellent groups to the Sound Lounge.The very talented and much in demand Megan Dixon Hood and her band join us from Cheshire playing their unique blend of ethereal songs and stories that seep from dark enchanted woods.
Megan is making waves on the music scene and the end of 2018 saw her release her new EP Tales From The North. She recently collaborated with Manchester’s The Untold Orchestra to bring her songs to life in another way with the help of the 18-piece orchestra and her band.
They will be joined on this very special double header by a wonderful folk duo that Americana UK described as 'A folk duo whose voices combine to create a seamless flow of rich, harmonic beauty'
Zoё Wren and Jasmine Watkiss, two harmony-obsessed multi-instrumentalists who formed a duo after an impromptu Cambridgeshire gig in 2018. They won Purbeck Rising in 2018, released their debut EP ‘Remedy’, which won the Fatea EP of the Year Award 2019, and sold out a headline show at the Green Note for the launch of our second EP.
