MegaLAN returns in 2025UNSW's biggest PC, console, tabletop gaming and cosplay event

MegaLAN community gaming convention returns in February, where we come together for 2 days packed with casual gaming and tournaments.
Game your own way, and meet other people who love gaming and PCs just as much as you do!
What's on at MegaLAN:
For the FIRST TIME EVER in OCEANIA, 8 universities face-off in a LIVE VALORANT TOURNAMENT on the Big Stage. Cheer for UNSW (̶b̶o̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶s̶)̶ as we face off against USYD, UTS, WSU, MQU, UoW, UoN and ANU! Who will be the Oceanic Prodigies?
League of Legends: Ultimate Bravery on the Big Stage
Minecraft: ice sled race on the Big Stage + minigames
Compete in fighting games: Tekken 8, King of Fighters, Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear, Smash Bros. Ultimate and more!
Magic the Gathering tournament (more details to be announced soon)
Virtual reality - come in and try it out, or BYO headset
Bring your own PC, laptop or console (classic LAN party)
Find a buddy for Marvel Rivals, League of Legends and CS
Bring your best cosplay, with a chance to win prizes for the best dressed!
PC build showcase and PC cleaning station - bringing your PC for troubleshooting assistance is also welcome

We are in a NEW venue in 2025! MegaLAN will now be held in the Tyree building along with a ⬆️ level up ⬆️ of the atmosphere - play the game exactly as it was intended.
This MegaLAN will have 4 dedicated sections:
Fighting games and BYO console,
PC tournaments and BYO computer/laptop,
Virtual reality,
Tabletop games
