About this Event
Let your imagination run wild in this interactive drawing session at the Library.
Enter a world of warrior champions, dragon armies and mythical creatures with Wylah the Koorie Warrior – a heart-stopping, action adventure inspired by First Nations history and grounded in culture.
The incredible cast of characters from this best-selling book series includes ancient megafauna like giant wombats the size of your house, kangaroos taller than a lamp post, and birds the size of a football field!
Join the creators and co-authors Richard Pritchard and Jordan Gould as they walk you through the craft of creating your own exciting storybook character. You’ll create your own Mega Book Beast trading card and design an original character to add to Wylah’s world.
Bring your favourite Wylah book for a signing session to follow, at 1.30pm at Readings State Library.
Suitable for children aged 7-12 years, and their families.
