About this Event
Home care workers don’t get to spend much time with colleagues - as lone workers we only tend to communicate with each other on double-up visits, in training, on team chats or in visit notes.
Homecare Workers’ Group has been set up by care workers, for care workers - to address the lack of meaningful contact between ‘frontline’ members of the care workforce. This meetup at Nottingham Central Library is a chance for us to get together in person (or online if you miss out on a ticket!).
This is a free, welcoming, informal meetup welcome to all of England’s 625,000 domiciliary / home care workers. Somewhere to share mutual support, tips and advice - both for our own benefit and for all those we support through our work.
There is a limited number of in-person tickets available, but if you miss out or live far away from the venue, the meetup will be livestreamed so you can join us online.
