WHO SHOULD ATTEND -
Industry experts and individuals who want to build their media presence, PR and communication professionals, brand managers, media relations specialists and business owners.
HOW IT WORKS -
We start the morning with three Q&A panels that put the spotlight on media. Nic Hayes pulls back the curtain on how the media works, with a lively and relaxed discussion that answers all the questions you've ever wanted to ask a journalist. From what time to pitch a story, to what time a breakfast radio presenter's alarm goes off, you'll get to know the schedule of the people behind your favourite news and entertainment media and what they're looking for in a story.
The second half of the event is devoted to rotating round-table introductions and pitching. Attendees have a seat at the table with the media from panel sessions, and they each have an opportunity to introduce themselves, pitch their stories and expertise directly to media.
It's not uncommon for media to tell you on the spot that they want your story. We've had attendees on leading breakfast radio and television the day after #MeetTheMedia. If your expertise is sought after and your story is cracking, you'll leave with a plethora of contacts and priceless face-to-face connections.
Media representatives to be announced in the coming weeks.
#MeetTheMedia is a game-changer for any business or organisation that is looking to make an impact in the contemporary media world. We look forward to seeing you there!
