Meeting/Workshop/In-Person/Zoom: Deep Dive: Volunteer Engagement Fundamentals—back to basics key concepts, practices, strategies!
About this Event

Join TulsALIVE Members and guests in this deep dive into fundamentals of volunteer engagement. Turn off the noise around YOU and join us to dig in to the basics--concepts, practices, and strategies--to engage volunteers.

Fact: Volunteers make THE difference in achieving organizational goals (and we are all being asked to recruit and serve MORE!)

Fact: Volunteer service has declined the past few years

Fact: Quality time exploring tried and true, time-tested principles benefits YOU AND YOUR volunteers

Fact: Deep Dive actionable strategies help YOU engage with volunteers

TulsALIVE founders Scott J. Gaffen, CVA, and Brenda Michael-Haggard, CVA have decades of hands-on experiences, professional development and facilitation in all-things-volunteerism. These basics, just like go-to-tools in any garden shed or wood shop, help grow mission awareness, broaden community support, retain invested volunteers and--ultimately--grow more resources/$$ for YOUR organization!

There's MORE in 2024 to shore up YOUR ASKs (Attitudes/Aptitudes/Abilities, Skills, Knowledge). Walk away with understanding and tactics to more effectively engage volunteers.

In this highly interactive session, Scott, Brenda and fellow #LoVols share wisdom and insights to add to YOURS. Dive in to thought-provoking discussion, note-taking, and doable, achievable takeaways. Come to connect, reconnect, and build your professional skills!
