About this Event
Let's talk tools to help YOU strengthen YOUR impact--impact with volunteers, colleagues, leadership, and...? Craft a plan to create or expand YOUR networks AND influence at whichever table YOU are at any time.
Join TulsALIVE Members who participated in VMHC share key takeaways from the recent global Volunteer Managers Hybrid Conference (VMHC) presented by Better Impact, AL!VE, and Volunteer Manager Professionals of Canada. These takeaways will help YOU develop greater influence to elevate your #volunteerstrategies!
YOUR fellow #LoVols have insights and experiences to add to YOURS, so plan for thought-provoking discussion, and even more takeaways. Bring YOUR lunch, covered drink container, note-taking materials and conversation. Come to connect, reconnect, and strengthen YOUR professional skills!
RSVP by 3p CT, Mon, Nov 18, for confirmation to ensure space setup AND Zoom login details.
Host: Member Carrie C. Suns, CVA and James O. Goodwin Health Center
Note from Carrie: We recently started a big construction project at the Tulsa Health Department, so please come a few minutes early as the entrance is a little bit of a hike from the parking lot. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!
Park: Enter off 129th East Ave (51st St entrance slated for construction). Once you park, you’ll see the wooden “maze”. Really, it’s our new temporary ramp to the West. Enter the building there, head straight until you run into the wall by the bathrooms, then go left until you can’t go any more. Turn right, down the stairs. Room 231 is to your left at bottom of stairs with a big mural on the wall inside. You’re there!
Brown Bag sessions are FREE, yet Eventbrite reservations ensure YOU receive meeting updates, any pre-session materials. In-person participation offers optimum interaction, yet if Zoom you must, please select that reservation/ticket option. Guest attendees and TulsALIVE Members receive materials post-session.
Not a member, yet? Pay individual Member $25 annual--dues year Jan-Dec--here, also.
Connect with fellow leaders of volunteers #LoVols--whether paid or unpaid, full- or part-time--corporate and nonprofit volunteer engagement professionals (VEPs) as members and guests network to enrich personal and leadership development.

One (1) Professional Development Unit (PDU) toward CVA recertification may be awarded for each 50-60 minute learning session or contact hour in topics related to volunteer resources management. (For more details about PDUs, visit www.CVACert.org or call 412.901.9598.)
TulsALIVE makes every effort to ensure participants' safety as we look to in-person and hybrid opportunities for learning and networking.
TulsALIVE in-person programs and activities will be canceled when Tulsa Public Schools are closed during inclement weather or upon natural disaster and health-safety emergency orders issued by local and/or state authorities.
