Dr. Miller will shed light on some common misunderstandings about this threatened species and provide new information about habitat needs and statewide population trends. Dr. Miller is a Research Scientist at FWC’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute and a Courtesy Associate Professor in Wildlife Ecology at the University of Florida. He has worked with Southeastern American Kestrels since 1994. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 22, at 7 p.m. at Brooksville Woman’s Club, 131 S. Main Street, Brooksville.
