Step into a cozy bookstore after hours, where the shelves are stacked with stories and sparks are waiting to be written—our queer singles mixer is part rom-com, part meet-cute, and all about connection. Trade your favorite book recs and let playful prompts guide you from shy smiles to flirty banter. Who knows? Between the aisles of romance, fantasy, and poetry, you just might find someone ready to start a brand-new chapter with you.
This is a queer singles mixer exclusively for folks aged 40+ to mingle, swap books, and spark connections! We'd really love to see people of all ages and stages find love at Charis! And if you're under 40, don't fret, we've got something in the works for y'all too!
This is a free event but RSVP is required because space is limited.

Ashley is a queer matchmaker and the founder of Ever After, an inclusive matchmaking service dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ individuals find love and build meaningful connections. Her mission? To create safe, welcoming spaces and date experiences where everyone—regardless of orientation—can explore authentic connections, celebrate their true selves, and find their happily EVER AFTER.
