As part of their regular Adults Evening, Daisy Doodle Paint-a-Pot in Northallerton have kindly offered to reserve the upstairs seating area for our first ever neurodivergent meet up!Date: Friday 2nd May 2025
Time: Any time from 6.30pm-10pm (You can get there from 5.30 if you'd like but I won't be there until 6.30)
Place: Daisy Doodle Paint-a Pot, 9B Garthway Arcade, Northallerton
Cost: £5 deposit in advance & the cost of the pot you paint, on the day (deposit will be deducted from the total)
As a late-diagnosed autistic woman myself, I have been looking for support locally, and have found there to be very little in the Northallerton area. And so I thought, if there is no support, let’s make our own! Meeting our neurokin and people who *get* us can be life-changing, and so it would be amazing to have a place to meet, chat, and in this case, paint!
I realise that walking into a strange venue, with a bunch of people you don’t know can be very intimidating, so please feel free to message me and we can discuss how best we can support each other to get through the door!
