On Weds, March 4, Firehouse Wine Bar is excited to welcome Mary Taylor, owner and founder of one of the most successful woman-owned wine import companies in the United States. Mary has more than 25 years of experience in the wine business, working as both an author/educator, wine retailer and wine importer. She created her iconic white label “Mary Taylor Wines" (many of which you have probably tried at our wine bar!) to focus on small-production, regional wines from around Europe.
We are excited to be tasting 5 different wines from Italy and France with Mary and discussing her philosophy of emphasizing the importance of wine regions (or “sense of place” as she refers to it) in winemaking. Light snacks will be served to accompany the wines.
