On November 30th from 11-4 Meet the Makers:
*Melissa Gillette from Sunshine and Cedar Designs - Melissa creates hand painted ornaments and earrings as well as hand sculpted ceramic pieces. In addition to selling her handmade gifts, Melissa will be offering a make & take activity. Drop in and learn how to paint your own ornament step-by-step!
*Sue Swanson and Laurie Hunt - Sue and Laurie are fiber artists creating a variety of handmade gifts! Sue will have wraps, scarves, bags, stitched beadwork jewelry and items for the home. Her hand spun yarns begin with raw fleece, which she processes, dyes and spins to create one of a kind textured yarns! Laurie also works in all aspects of the fiber arts, including spinning, knitting, dyeing, felting and weaving. Laurie has a following of sock lovers, who love the socks she produces on a 100 year-old circular knitting machine, cranked by hand. She will be bringing the machine in to show folks how it works! Laurie loves color, and enjoys dyeing silk scarves and garments in a variety of color palettes.
Join us Saturday, November 30th from 11am-4pm! This event is free and open to the public. We will have the hot cider ready! :)
