Dr. Mary Evans
Doctor Mary Evans is an adult consultant psychiatrist with more than 15 years of experience in Mental Health. Hearing more and more about ADHD in her clinics, she decided to learn and train to understand more about her patients with ADHD. She found this field fascinating, and when she opened her private practice in 2023, she decided to focus on adults with ADHD. She trained in France and the UK and has worked for a year now, assessing, treating, and explaining ADHD symptoms to her patients.

Dr Vicky Matthews
Dr Vicky Matthews is a Senior Clinical Psychologist, a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland, and the founder and Clinical Director of West Cork Psychology.

During her career, she worked in Ireland, the UK and Canada. She worked with people of all ages presenting with a wide variety of difficulties in both mental and physical health, including cognitive difficulties and additional educational needs, along with general life challenges such as family, relationships, education and employment.

She provides cognitive assessments for both adults and children, including general assessments of intellectual ability (IQ), academic achievement, Giftedness, specific learning difficulties and ADHD.

Dr Aoife O’Sullivan
Dr Aoife O’ Sullivan became a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2005, graduating from the Cork/Kerry Training Scheme. She has worked as a GP in Cork since then, primarily in UCC’s Student Health Service, working with young people.

Through working with students, she developed an interest in mental health, initially with Eating Disorders, extending to mental health in general and more recently with ADHD. She works with the UCC Mental Health and Wellbeing Team and since 2022 has been the HSE ICGP National Clinical Lead in Mental Health. This role includes GP education and liaison between the Irish College of GPs and the HSE.

Aoife has completed the UKAAN (UK Adult ADHD Network) training in diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and has worked as a GP with students presenting with ADHD symptoms over the past few years. She has presented on ADHD at the ICGP Wednesday Webinar Series and published an article in Forum in October 2023

Claire Considine
Claire is a Senior Occupational Therapist working with adults with ADHD. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2017 and, since then, has been working specifically in adult mental health. She has a particular interest in ADHD and a positive, empowering and neuroaffirmative approach to working with neurodiverse people.

Claire has worked with a wide variety of people with ADHD, both in University College Cork and more recently in the Cork Adult ADHD Tertiary Care Hub (CATCH) where she has been based for a year. This role involves providing assessments, groups and OT specific interventions to our service users.
