In Bloodletter (Image Comics) Tasha Thornwall, known as the Bloodletter, is a powerful mystical mercenary entrenched in the world's secretive underbelly.
In his most recent single story issue New History of the DC Universe: The Dakota Incident brings the Milestone university into the main DC Comics continuity. The story follows the hero Beacon traveling back in time to uncover a past event—a war between Dakota City heroes (like Static and Rocket) and the U.S. government—that has altered his future, setting the stage for future Milestone stories.

Joseph P. Illidge is a writer, editor, and creative strategist whose work includes Bloodletter (Image Comics), The Shadow Cabinet (Milestone/DC), and Batman: The Hill. A former editor of Batman: No Man’s Land, Birds of Prey, and Batgirl, Illidge has helped redefine comics from the inside out.
