Have you been missing our Belties? Our friendly Belted Galloway Cattle invite you to visit them in their winter home at the cattle barns in Howes Retreat!Get up close to all the cows and discover fascinating insights about our "living lawnmowers" and the vital role they play in managing the Box Moor Trust estate.
You'll also have the chance to ask our Rangers any questions about these amazing four-legged friends.
Enjoy refreshments, fun children's activities, and plenty of information about the work of the Box Moor Trust during your visit. We will also have our pop-up Box Moor Trust shop omsite and you'll even have the chance to adopt your own Beltie Cow!
There will be 4 ticketed sessions throughout the day. Please try to arrive as close to the start of your timeslot as possible and limit your visit to the cattle barns to one hour to help prevent overcrowding on-site.
Everyone is welcome—adults and children! Please note, children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian at all times.
