About this Event
Does your company bid for public contracts in Northern Ireland? Is your VCSE organisation interested in partnering with companies to deliver social value on public contracts?
Join us for this in-person event to learn about the social value opportunities on public contracts in Northern Ireland.
Social value is now at the heart of the public procurement landscape following the introduction of the NI Executive policy ‘Scoring Social Value’ in June 2022. It is mandatory for Services and Construction tenders to score social value at 10 percent of the total award criteria. This offers significant opportunities to maximise Government’s buying power for the benefit of people, communities, and the planet.
Join us to hear from suppliers and VCSEs about the social value initiatives they are delivering together. This collaboration ranges from jobs and work placements, training and skills development, circular solutions to waste, including social enterprises in the supply chain and lots more. There will be plenty of networking opportunities throughout the session to encourage collaboration.
We anticipate significant interest in attending this event, therefore tickets are limited to 2 per organisation/company.
The deadline to register to attend is Friday 20th September 2024 at 5pm.
