Join us at Momo in Riverfront Park to meet Caroline Cleveland, the author of the thought-provoking new southern legal thriller When Cicadas Cry. This debut crime thriller follows attorney Zach Stander and detective Addie Stone as they untangle the secrets and lies behind the M**der of a woman in Walterboro, SC.
We will also be joined in the conversation by Laurie Devore, author of A Better Bad Idea and the forthcoming The Villain Edit. Laurie and Caroline will dive deep about the art of writing southern novels and specifically thrillers.

About the Authors
Caroline Cleveland is a labor and employment lawyer. A native South Carolinian, Caroline grew up in the Lowcountry and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1991. This is her first novel.
Laurie Devore is a graduate of Clemson University and can be found, from time-to-time, yelling helpful advice at Clemson sporting events. In her spare time, she enjoys reading at the beach, watching too much TV, and spending time with her dog, Wrigley, in their home of Charleston, South Carolina.
