The League City Historical Society invites you to a celebration of the Galveston County Historical Commission’s new, comprehensive history book titled, Galveston County, Texas: A Narrative and Pictorial History. This publication dives into the county's rich past, from its unique geography and early Native American camps to the arrival of explorers, pirates, and bold settlers. Authors Ralph Stenzel, Melodey Hauch, and Jodi Wright-Gidley will be attending to answer questions, offer a brief presentation, sign personal copies, and have books for purchase.
