ABOUT LIZ BRUNNER
An Emmy award-winning journalist, Liz Brunner’s television career spanned 28 years and featured many memorable highlights. Along with co-anchoring the #1 rated 6 pm newscast at ABC-TV, WCVB NewsCenter 5 in Boston, she conducted exclusive one-on-one interviews with prominent figures ranging from professional athletes to global political leaders including President Barack Obama as well as cultural icons such as Oprah Winfrey.
In 2013, Liz excitedly embarked upon her next chapter, becoming the CEO and Founder of Brunner Communications and launched BrunnerAcademy.com in 2020. Both are dedicated to helping people find their authentic voice, tell their story and lead with presence. An expert communications coach, motivational speaker, Liz is also the host of the Live Your Best Life with Liz Brunner podcast. Liz guides her guests to share their stories of self-discovery and re-creation. Listeners around the world join in on the journey garnering inspiration from the wisdom shared. A classically trained vocal performer and former high school music educator, Liz holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. She has performed with the Boston Pops and at professional sporting events for teams including the Boston Celtics, the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, among others.
ABOUT DAVID BROWN
David Brown is a familiar face to the non-profit world in the Boston Area. Over the past 27 years, David has raised over $10,000,000 as a volunteer auctioneer / Fund-A-Need Ambassador for organizations such as Caritas Communities, Boston Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, PFLAG of Greater Boston, and Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. In his day job, David is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Dean College.
David is a familiar face to many in the Boston area as a meteorologist, anchor, and reporter for WCVB-TV and is recognized as a passionate community service spokesperson. After a 27-year career in front of the camera, David pivoted to non-profit work full-time, first as Chief Advancement Officer of the Forsyth Institute, then for MAB Community Services. In that role, David elevated the philanthropic footprint of MAB’s three divisions: The Massachusetts Association for the Blind, The Ivy Street School, and MAB Adult Disability Services. Before Dean College, David was the Executive Director of the Cam Neely Foundation. David enjoys storytelling and can be found at the Moth Story Slams in greater Boston. David lives in Boston and is a proud father of 2 college-age kids and a son living in New York.
