Join us for our first event as a pop-up/events bookstore and the beginning of a series of events we’ll be doing for Latine Heritage Month!
On September 22nd, catch horror writer Gabino Iglesias talking about his new book House of Bone and Rain at 4pm at the Civic Media Center (433 S Main St). Reading will be followed by a Q&A with Gainesville writer and founder of House of Vlad Press, Brian Alan Ellis. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
About the author:
Gabino Iglesias is the author of the Shirley Jackson and Bram Stoker award-winning novel, The Devil Takes You Home, as well as author of the critically acclaimed and award-winning novels Zero Saints and Coyote Songs. He is a writer, journalist, professor, and literary critic living in Austin, Texas. He is the horror columnist for the New York Times Book Review.
