In the year 1914, near the growing metropolis of Charlotte, North Carolina, where textile leader and inventor Stuart W. Cramer makes his home, a small mill area catches the eye and imagination of the man himself. In the years to follow, this community transforms into a “model mill village”, as Cramer utilizes his vision and savvy to expand all that is known and assumed about the textile industry.
