Sanborn, Port Huron is forever etched with the spirit of diverse and passionate people. Join Brenda Williams for a discussion on her research & writing process as she guides you on a historical journey into the captivating lives of our early pioneers featured in her new book, Pioneers of St. Clair County, Michigan. A personal meet & greet/book signing will follow the discussion.
Brenda Williams is a law librarian in Dayton, Ohio. In her spare time, she wears the hat of a historical researcher/writer. She was born and raised in Port Huron. She is a graduate of SC4 (Associate of Arts) and an active member of the St. Clair County Genealogy & History Society, the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research, and Harsens Island Historical Society. Her first book, Pioneers of St. Clair County, Michigan, was released in June of 2024. She periodically writes historical articles for Thumbprint News, but her most cherished project is her blog, www.tappingroots.com. Her roots in the Blue Water area and her love of family history compelled her to begin the blog in 2017. It is the space where she spends most of her writing time.
Please register in advance, as space is limited.
