In conjunction with the official opening of artist Basia Zielinska’s solo exhibition opening, the Polish Club Ashfield along with Sto Lat Restaurant will present a Meet The Artist Dinner in the Amber Private Dining Room.
The evening will celebrate Basia Zielinska’s solo exhibition opening at the Polish Club with a three course alternate drop exclusive menu, a Q&A with the artist and curator, and an exclusive talk with the artist.
Tickets are only $80 +bf per person for this exclusive event.
SET MENU (alternate drop)
Entrée – Baby elotes, grilled baby corn, cottage cheese, spicy aioli, cilantro – Pan seared scallops, tomato jam, dill cream sauce, pine nuts
Main – Barramundi, pea puree, asparagus, roasted potatoes, roasted almond – Osso Buco, mashed potatoes, roasted honey carrots, sticky jus
Dessert – Sticky date pudding, caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream, mascarpone cream – Almond coffee stone, edible soil, chocolate sauce, mascarpone mousse, flower

ABOUT BASIA ZIELINKSA | Basia Zielinska (b. 1947 Leer) is a Sydney-based abstract artist of Polish heritage. Her body of work responds intuitively and emotionally to fragments of memories, as well as images of internal and external landscapes. Basia has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, and in 2017 held her first solo exhibition at the ME Art Gallery. She was invited by the Polish Consulate in Sydney to exhibit her oeuvre. Basia has been a finalist and recipient of multiple Art Prizes, and her works can be found in many private collections internationally.
GETTING THERE | The Polish Club Ashfield is located 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Pedestrian access is only available from Liverpool Road.
TRAIN | We are conveniently only a 5 minute walk from Ashfield Train Station. Take the Brown Street Exit from the train station, and continue up Browns Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and continue left. The destination will be on your right.
PARKING | We are delighted to welcome our guests to park their vehicles in our underground carpark. The entrance is located via 73 Norton Street. You can easily enter the club from the carpark using the lift. Alternatively, there is always plenty of street parking in the surrounding area with access to the club via the front entrance on 182 Liverpool Road.
CHECK-IN | Ensure to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event to be able to check-in at reception. Members can easily scan their members card, and guests can either scan their drivers license or become an associate member for $2. Allow 5 minutes to become a member. Member’s receive 10% discount on selected items.
