About Michele: Michele studied Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, which is where she was also born and raised. There she was classically trained under masters in the painting field.
Michele is a retired art teacher but continues to focus on her art, entering shows, and creating pet portraits.
Michele’s work has been exhibited across the country in various galleries and studios, from NYC to Ventura, California. She currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband, a native son of Iowa. She is a breast cancer survivor, and when not painting she is out in the dog world, training and showing her Black Russian Terrier, Grim, who is also her service dog.
