April 14th-September 17th, 1939. Crime in the United States at this time is through the roof. People are afraid that another war is about to break out again. The Great Depression has crippled the people of the U.S. They are hungry, scared, and homeless. In need of hope. But tensions are high in Europe. Russia is putting up an iron curtain to keep everyone out. Crime Lords rise in the streets. Attempting to control as much as they can to survive. Vigilantes and heroes alike have started to appear in cities in an attempt to the stop the criminals. This sparks the “Dawn of the Golden Age of Costumed Heroes.” Individuals and different groups of caped crusaders. Who help the people in need and start to put some crime lords behind bars. But more often than not. Some of them get blamed and hated for their sometimes wild abilities. In the meantime, President Roosevelt sends a letter to Hitler and Mussolini. Hoping not to draw America into another World War. In his letter he is backed by 31 other countries and their leaders. He waits eagerly for their response…

The Adventurers guild has put a call to aid for a party of guild members 5th rank or higher to investigate the strange happenings being reported from beneath the city itself. northstrom,has suffered a terrible attack beneath its streets.Being built atop the ruin of an ancient dwarven city it stands atop a complex system of tunnels and caves that decend miles beneath still famed for its mines, as they are ripe with the most precious of minerals, the miners now refuse the decent after a camp of their fellows was found slaughtered below.It's the guilds request that the Adventurers explore the mines and slay whatever lies beneath, so that business may resume as usual. Compensation will be 1000 gold per head upon completion of the task to be paid by your local guild hall.Good luck Adventurers
