Meet Me at the Garden is a free public event at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia that will focus on the joys of harvesting and cooking your own food straight from the garden. This event is aimed at both persons living with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia alongside their care partners. We encourage you to attend together, learn together, and explore the garden together in this guided program featuring the Alice H. Richards Children’s Garden Dig-and-Grow edible garden. Please note:
Meet Me at the Garden is a research program aimed at expanding gardens and resources for care partners/care recipients statewide. We will be collecting data from caregivers regarding their experiences providing care so that we can best tailor our program and future iterations to meet your needs. Data will be collected at the beginning and end of the program.
This program is offered in partnership with the UGA Cognitive Aging Research and Education Center.
