Join author Frank Perry at a book signing of his new work titled "Geology of the Northern Monterey Bay Region: Rocks, Fossils, and Cultural Connections." For over forty years, Frank has been collecting stories involving local geology and its relationship to the historical development of the region. Since retiring in 2021, he has been gathering these stories into a book for general audiences.
Each chapter is on a different topic, including minerals, rocks, soil, water, fossils, earthquakes, and many others. There are also two field trips in the back, a list of resources, and a glossary and index. In terms of geographic coverage, it runs from Moss Landing to Pigeon Point.
