You do not have to be Latinx to come to the event or join, so feel free to stop by! We hope to see you there ? In order to receive an application to join the society, you must attend at least one of two meet and greet events. If you can't come to either one, please reach out.
Also in order to be transparent about our application process, we will be sending out the application to those who attended a meet and greet (or otherwise contacted us) on the evening of 09/21. The application and peer letter of recommendation will be due on Friday, September 24th at 11:59PM.
So you can get a head start, the application asks for a peer letter of recommendation from someone that IS NOT a current or past member of Cipactli. If you are thinking of applying, we encourage you to think about this peer letter earlier rather than later.
