MEET & DANCE is one of Houston most fun gatherings for anyone wanting to learn how to dance Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia and more! It happens every Monday Night in Downtown, Houston. Perfect event for brand new dancers, new students, and anyone curious about dancing. Learn how to do the basic step, how to turn, how to lead and follow, how to put patterns together, how to recognize the music. Everyone is welcome.
☀️ Weekly, every Monday night.
⌚️ 7pm - 11:30pm
? Henke & Pillot 809 Congress St. Houston, TX.
? Free street parking after 6pm around Market Square Park and nearby streets.
? Casual attire. Low heels for ladies. Leather sole for guys recommended.
? After the classes we play a mix of Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, and Merengue.
? Food available at Sapporo Sushi restaurant and Niko Niko Greek restaurant nearby.
? Bar available all night.
? $10/singles, or $15/couple (lead and follow), $5 only social after 9pm.
? Class limited to 50 attendees. Party limited to 100 attendees.
?? Singles, couples, groups welcome. No partner required. Check-in is from 7:00-7:25p. Classes in Salsa and Bachata from 7:30-9:00p. Party and social from 9pm till 11:30plus.
RSVP Online via eventbrite, pay at the door. We accept cash, Venmo, cashapp, zelle. Please no credit cards.
All Lessons are for beginners. No experience required.

✓ Masks are encouraged. Follow the City of Houston recommendations.
✓ Sanitizers are available.
✓ Do not attend if you are not feeling well.
✓ Event is 18 and up to dance, 21 and up to drink.

Free parking around Market Square Park: Travis, Milan, Congress, Preston St. Do not park on red zones (for emergency vehicles only). Street parking is free all over Downtown after 6pm Monday to Saturday. Free all day Sunday. Don't forget to lock your car and secure your valuables in your vehicle.

Couples: One or All Classes - $15/couple

If you like to skip the lessons and attend the Social only: $5/p

Out of abundance of caution, we are asking participants to not join the dance event:
1. If they are feeling sick (includes cold, flu, allergy symptoms, cough, sore throat, fatigue, stomach aches, etc.) 2. If they are known to have risk factors (older age / comorbidities) that may trigger an adverse or severe response to COVID-19. 3. If they have known exposure to a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
