Joining us will be State Senator Chris Lee of Hawaii, who is also president of the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators. As assistant majority leader of the Hawaii Senate, Chris will talk about what can be accomplished when a Democratic state legislature and governor are on the same page on education, health care, jobs and economic growth, worker and human rights, fair elections, reproductive freedom, legalized cannabis. The list goes on.
Plus, we cannot be on the Mississippi River without talking about climate action, renewable energy, clean water and protecting our natural resources. Of course, beverages, snacks and cool music will be part of the festive occasion.
