Meet ABRSM Chief Examiner Zoë Booth

Our Chief Examiner Zoë Booth will lead a 90-minute workshop, exploring how ABRSM has evolved whilst continuing to offer world-class assessments and opportunities for learners worldwide.

In the workshop we will explore how ABRSM supports learners from beginner to advanced, covering assessment and syllabus updates, learning resources for your students, and insight into how examiners mark the exams. We will also provide an overview of the new Performance Diplomas for advanced students.

In the second half of the workshop, we will explore how ABRSM can support your development as a teacher. Zoe will encourage us to reflect on our teaching and how we can develop our skills and practice. We will also look at the new Teaching Diplomas launching in 2024, and ABRSM’s new dedicated online training resource for music teachers, the Teacher Hub. You will leave the workshop with lots of ideas to take back into your teaching, and there will be plenty of time to ask questions at the end of the workshop.
