This live interactive medical program for veterinary professionals will provide a practical case-based overview of how to approach dogs and cats presenting with acute abdominal signs. This presentation emphasizes the importance of early recognition of critical illness, stabilization while achieving a definitive diagnosis, and continued treatment prior to going into surgery. This course also includes decision-making strategies for fluid therapy, analgesia, antibiotics, additional care, and when to proceed with surgical exploration. In addition, a structured approach will be provided to improve confidence and clinical outcomes in high-stakes cases.
