For those of you who don’t know, MedTech-iQ Aotearoa is a collection of 4 regional hubs located in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Our purpose is to "unlock New Zealand's MedTech innovation potential, building a national innovation hub that sparks creativity, develops capability and drives economic growth". Our free bi-monthly stakeholder events bring together people from all corners of the local Medical Technology ecosystem as an opportunity to network and stay informed on the new developments happening in our back garden.
Our upcoming event offers the opportunity to hear from the founders of Wellumio. Wellumio is a Wellington-based medical device company striving to make MRIs more accessible through its portable MRI device, Axana. They aim to alleviate the financial constraints of traditional MRI technology on the Healthcare system, to increase the accessibility and impact of this vital diagnostic tool.
