About this Event
Once a month we host a Meditative Nature Walk where we meet up at a park in the NYC area to meditate, hike, and have a meal together.
This time, we are going on a day hike trip into the Hudson Valley! We will be meeting up at 9.45am on Saturday, 6/29, at the Harlem-125th Street Metro North Station, taking the 10.01am train up to the Breakneck Ridge Station and hiking on the trail linked below. Lets see if we can meditate at least once on the trail for 10-20 minutes. After finishing up the hike, we can try to get dinner in the nearby town of Cold Spring and catch a train back from the station there. The whole event should take 7 - 8 hours.
Bring appropriate shoes for walking, and a water bottle. Please pack sandwiches for lunch! Long pants are recommended to avoid ticks. You can check the MTA Metro Noth train schedule here - https://new.mta.info/schedules
