Katie is a yoga teacher and personal trainer who has returned from living and teaching yoga in Sri Lanka where her passion for drawing mandalas was born. She felt instantly connected to the magical process of mandala drawing after attending workshops there, finding that it helped her connect to her creativity while achieving a meditative flow state. Meditative mandala drawing is now a big part of her daily mindfulness practice and she loves to share this passion with others. About Katie: Katie relocated to Leeds after spending 12 years in London before traveling for a year during 2023 which included teaching yoga in Sri Lanka, working with students from around the world. Katie is a qualified yoga teacher, personal trainer and group exercise instructor and her consistent daily yoga practice has been an important part of her life for many years. Her classes are interesting, strong and playful and at the same time grounding and nourishing with options for all levels. She is passionate about yoga and about encouraging her students to cultivate an inner strength that can be taken off the mat and into daily life. She loves to share her creativity in the form of interesting flows and soundtracks while exploring the possibilities of the body and mind. She is forever curious and loves to study yoga philosophy which adds richness to her classes. She is known for her accessible yet challenging, creative classes, uplifting yoga wisdom and clear delivery, focusing on building awareness of the body-mind connection.
