Join Kenneth Tan, author of Crescenciana: A Memoir in Words and Illustrations, for an engaging class on drawing banigs—traditional Filipino woven mats. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll explore a variety of line patterns inspired by Filipino weaving and tattoo designs. You'll then apply these patterns to create your own distinctive banig illustration. This creative process is not only accessible to all skill levels but also offers a calming, meditative, and enjoyable experience.This program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis until all seats are filled. No prior drawing experience is required.
