Meditation Workshop 101With Kim Sage at Belle Grove Plantation

Why Meditation?
Meditation interjects far-reaching and long-lasting benefits into our lives: It helps us lower our stress levels, helps us identify our pain, teaches us how to connect better, improves our focus, and teaches us how to be kinder to ourselves.
Let Kim Sage walk you through the basics of how to meditate.
How do I start meditating? During Meditation Workshop 101, you will be learning how to pay attention to your breathing as it goes in and out. You will notice when your mind wanders from this task. You will learn the practice of returning to your breathing to build the muscles of attention and mindfulness. When you pay attention to your breathing and learn how to return to and remain in the present moment it will anchor you in the here and now on purpose and without judgement. While meditation isn’t a cure-all, it can certainly provide some much-needed relaxation in your life.
Kim Sage has created a wonderful mediation workshop.
Kim feels like she has delayed her own spiritual growth for years by over complicating being able to meditate. Join her so she can teach you simple techniques to begin your journey of going within! She feels like being able to meditate is a key factor of a solid foundation in working with your inner self and Spirit Guides.
Sound Healing Bath
At the end of your workshop, Kim will take you through a Sound Healing Bath using seven crystal healing bowls. This will release energic blockages from your body and get you ready to take on the world.
Beauty and a Connection to Nature
Our Meditation Workshop 101 will be an outdoors workshop (unless the weather doesn’t cooperate). You will meet on the bluff behind the mansion at Belle Grove Plantation with views of the Rappahannock River and shade from our beautiful trees. You will be sitting on the ground on a mat you will bring with you and learn what it is to connect to the earth on a more spiritual level. If you are unable to sit on a mat, please bring a lawn chair that you can be comfortable in.
Please bring with you an eye covering, journal, mat to sit on or lawn chair if needed.
After the Meditation Workshop
Enjoy a light afternoon tea with a scone, two tea sandwiches, two petite desserts, and a pot of Belle Grove Plantation Exclusive Herbal Meditation Tea. Afterwards enjoy a free Historic Mansion Tour on us.

$60 per person per class
Cancellation
You may cancel your ticket up to 30 days prior to the class for a full refund. Tickets become nonrefundable less than 30 days before the class.
