About this Event
A friendly, engaging, and informal get together, creating a welcoming space for people of colour to learn to meditate, connect and deepen their practice.
You’ll learn skills to manage and take time out from the stressful demands of modern life, helping to bring calm, contentment and connection.
Practising alongside others, building a sense of community and unity in the potential for change, these sessions can help us to feel more positive, have a sense of purpose and bring about new perspectives in our lives.
Join us for a morning of practice from 10am for a 10.30 start until 12.30pm. Led by people of colour for people of colour. *
The Birmingham Buddhist centre classes are ran by donation. Please watch this video to understand what this means. You can donate online here, or on the day when you attend.
*Our People of Colour events are gatherings for people who come from the richly diverse lived experiences of these intentionally welcomed identities: Black, and people of colour inclusive of Asian, South East Asian, Latinx, Arab/Middle Eastern, biracial, mixed heritage, and multiracial
