Hjerterum Mornings præsenterer: Meditation - From Mindful Movement into Stillness

A lot of silent meditation assumes our nervous systems and emotions are already regulated, and ready to sit in stillness. Which in every day life, often they are not. Often, we need to wind down and release tensions and emotions before we can truly relax and find a natural stillness in meditation. However, if you have instant access to that stillness, the space welcomes that as well.
In this hour, dedicated to finding true rest and a deeper sense of being alive, your nervous system is supported in letting go, and trusting that it is safe to just be.
We land together with a short guidet meditation, followed by 30 min of intuitive (self-directed) Mindful Movement with gentle music. We end with a 20 minute silent meditation.
What is "Intuitive Mindful Movement"?
This is a framework which invites an intuitive (self-directed) combination of forms seen in mindful movement, yin yoga, intuitive dance, walking meditation, restorative yoga, energy channeling exercises, gentle hatha, dynamic energy awareness and any other practice which invites a deepened awareness into gentle physical or internal (energetic) movement, or stretching. It is about strengthening your own ability to sense what YOU need in this very moment, within the supportive framework of the group, as well as gentle music, which is designed to invite slowness, care, gentleness and presence.
This hour is about regulating into rest. And from there, resting into a deeper sense of Being.
About Anna Ananda
Anna has experience with meditation from more than 3,000 hours of practice and a total of 6 months of intensive silent meditation retreats. She is a certified Mindfulness Facilitator with a focus on stress, pain and chronic illness, and has completed 500 hours of training in yin yoga, restorative yoga and yoga therapy, as well as 1 year of a breathwork facilitator training. She is currently undertaking a 100-hour training as a sound therapist, and has attended 35+ days of tantra training in various contexts, as well as a number of courses at Vækstcenteret. She is in meditation training with senior practitioners from Vækstcenteret, Christian Züger and Henrik Krag.

This is a Hjerterum Mornings event – a community event organized by Hjerterum in collaboration with Hjerterum teachers.
Hjerterum Mornings are always free for members and cost 50 DKK for non-members. Morning events take place on weekdays from 10:30 to 11:30.
