Life with ADHD can be incredibly challenging. Navigating the symptoms of ADHD, whilst balancing the demands of life and society, can mean that many people find themselves in a state of chronic overwhelm, and finding a balanced and happy state of mind can seem impossible.
In this half day course, Buddhist practitioner Rebecca Dempsey will share, through her own experience with meditation and ADHD, how finding inner peace amongst the chaos is completely possible. Not only that, but through Buddhist teachings, we can reframe how we view ourselves and begin a journey to self acceptance.
Everyone is welcome, beginners and experienced meditators alike. No special clothes are required and seating is provided in chairs and meditation cushions. There is free on street parking on the street just outside, easy access from the Westlink Divis St/ Millfield exit, and we are just 15 min walk from City Hall and the Europa Bus Centre.
Bring a vegetarian or vegan packed lunch or a dish to share in the lunch break, or pop out to frequent one of the many cafes in the Cathedral Quarter, just 7 mins walk away. Complimentary hot drinks and light snacks will be available throughout the day in the lounge area.
